In addition to enabling and carrying out ministry in Vista Marina, the Godwins operate the Bible school they founded in 2020 for English-speaking people in Mexico. They also travel around Mexico, at the behest of Mexico's national Foursquare organization, carrying out assignments as needed.

Did you know Don recorded a bunch of tunes... back in '94? The songs were mostly originals and represented, in his words, a "call to the church." Collaborators included his friend, Ralph Sappington (who in addition to producing the whole thing, helped finish some of the tunes, and arranged them all), plus some music buddies from church and two siblings. Bit of trivia: Recordings were done on the same 2-inch machine used in 1969 for Elvis' hit, "In The Ghetto." In 2022, the tunes were all remastered by Ken Roberts, the original engineer, and uploaded to iTunes, Spotify and YouTube. There are some top-shelf studio players on here—Kathy Jameson, Tim Pope, Randy Mitchell and the aforementioned Ralph Sappington, who played bass and all (yes all) the brass parts. You can give the album a listen anytime... It's called: "Who Will Go?"
