Gifts intended for our personal support, including travel, can go through either our own non-profit or our FMI (Foursquare) page. You'll receive tax credit either way. But if you want to give toward a project, you should send checks to our non-profit—otherwise we have to take out enough to pay personal taxes on the gift.
Boxes of Blessing (June '24) - $23,000
This summer we want to give a $40 box of groceries to each one of four hundred families in Vista Marina. We need (as usual) at least twenty team members to come and help us handle the distribution, as well as pray for all the families individually. Along with this, we'll be giving a school supplies kit for all the primary-age kids in the Colonia (400). This time of ministry always yields kingdom results! Pray that the Lord will bring a great harvest, and also that the money will come in: $16,000 for groceries and $4,000 for school supplies, plus $3,000 for prep, travel and other expenses. God is able! If you want to give, pray or go... let us know right away!
Vista Marina Church Construction - $25,000
We need to build a new church facility on the property just purchased in Vista Marina—this is beyond exciting! The property is located almost across the street from where the congregation has been meeting for 14 years now (Doña Juana's house); we're ready to start building! (All gifts for this project should be sent to the Godwin Ministries non-profit—see our giving page.)
Pictured: Pastor Angel Trujillo (sunglasses) and his wife, Vene, join members of the Vista Marina congregation as they stand on the undeveloped property, praying for revival in Vista Marina! (Note—the structure behind them is not on the church property.)
What can be done remotely, we do—teaching Bible school, for instance. But our work in Baja still requires a number of trips, some by car and others by air. Will you consider helping us raise our 2024 travel budget of $16,596? To help, visit our giving page.
